城乡规划专业                 

    本专业以培养“懂理论、会管理、有技术”的中高级城乡规划复合型人才为目标，立足于我国新型城镇化和城乡统筹发展的实际，依托我校经管学科优势，通过工科专业训练，培养掌握城乡规划设计技术与管理的理论体系、具备城乡规划设计与管理实践能力，重点培养学生在城乡总体规划、村镇建设规划、古村落保护与开发设计规划、居住区规划、区域规划和景观设计等方面，熟练掌握建筑测绘、GIS空间分析、手工和计算机绘图等专业技能，具有社会责任感、团队精神、创新思维和可持续发展理念，尊重地方历史文化，具备城镇和乡村规划、设计设计和管理综合能力的高级城乡规划复合型人才。

    核心专业课程：建筑初步、建筑与风景绘画、城乡规划原理、计算机辅助制图与规划、地理信息系统、生态环境规划、道路交通规划、城市总体规划、城市设计与详细规划、旅游规划、居住区规划等。

    择业去向：在当前快速城镇化背景下，本专业以就业岗位需求为导向，以实践动手操作能力培养为重点，毕业生就业前景良好。毕业后可去各级规划建设和国土管理部门、各类专业规划设计机构、相关城乡规划建设企事业单位；并可以进一步考取相关专业研究生或出国深造学习

   本专业文理科学生兼招，学制四年，毕业后授予工学学士学位

Urban & Rural Planning

       Our urban/rural planning B.Eng. degree offers an extremely integrative study programme. It aims to foster the students’ ability not only to understand theories and management, but also to utilize planning techniques. This programmekeeps close to the needs of both national and regional-level urban/rural planning strategies including special town planning, rural planning and city/county governance and planning. Students can select from a wide range of topics spanning human geography, planning, design, and public policy. They also need to participant in-depth fieldworks and day excursions which integrates experiential learning at every stage.By fieldtrips and teamwork, our programme helps students to obtain knowledge and skills related to special town planning, urban and regional development, ecological planning, rural planning and design, as well as regional governance.

       Core courses: Artistic Design, Architecture & Urban Design, Urban/Rural Planning, Computer-Aided Mapping And Design, Human Geography, Economic Geography, GIS, Ecological And Environmental Planning, Road And Transportation Planning, Residential Planning.

       Career orientations: Our programme is well oriented to match current job markets by particularly emphasizing students’ ability on practical skills and knowledge. Our graduates’ excellent employment record is a sign of the integrality and professionalism that our planning degree develop. Graduates can select a great range of employers to go, including but not limited to: Public institutions of construction and planning, government units of land and resources, city/provincial planning and design institutes, consultancy companies, and real estate development companies. We also offer great assistances for students to pursue higher degrees in geography, planning, and public administrations in China and abroad.

       Students with background of arts and sciences are both welcome to apply. After four years (normally) study, we offer students with Bachelor Degree of Engineering (B.Eng.).
